Chip House of ExactTarget on Email Marketing Challenges and Trends

Forrester Research just released a new research study about email. The study found that email is now so ubiquitous that 97% of all consumers, and 94% of marketers are using email. Bottom line, if you’re not thinking A LOT about email marketing, you should be. For this podcast, I chatted with an expert in the field, Chip House of ExactTarget. ExactTarget is one of the largest permission-based email marketing companies out there and Chip has been in the direct/email marketing trenches for years.

Chip was jenerous enough to share his thoughts on the major email marketing trends of 2007 and 2008, the biggest challenges facing email marketers today, how to address those challenges, email deliverability and more.
