John Cass of Backbone Media chats about Business Blogging
Today I had a fascinating conversation with John Cass of Backbone Media, a Boston-based SEO/web design company. John is Director of Blogging Strategies for the company, he blogs and is integrally involved in Backbone's new Scout corporate blogging service.
In the podcast, we discussed measuring the online conversation on a micro and macro scales, some of the leading companies in the space, the importance of having a goal in mind before you start blogging, whether blogs should be used as customer service tools and the inevitable blurring of the lines between corporate functions when employees start blogging.
